Empty Promises
The interview was a sales pitch. Hired on the promise of future opportunity, with no intent to promote from within. Training was non-existent. No objective standards to be held accountable to. No standard operating procedures to follow. Suggestions for improvement fall on deaf ears. No guidance. No dress code. Kids in hoodies and sweatpants getting vehicles ready for delivery. Essentially a daycare that puts money in your pocket. Unresponsive HR network ready to dodge any meaningful questions to the next clueless unresponsive HR person. The experienced training the inexperienced, and being compensated less for it. I expected some disorganization for a startup, but this is truly unbearable. If you've been offered a high salary to work here, take it. You won't ever have to put in any work for it. The person making you that offer is out of their element, and really has no clue how to manage so much as a sock draw. Take advantage of that if you're in a position to, they'll certainly do the same to you.

Even after exceeding expectations and having some non negotiables in place my needs were eventually looked over. My raise for exceeding expectations got swept under the rug and somehow it was my fault. managers are over worked and sometimes have no care for issues that arise. They promised opportunity for growth and 5k pay raises every 6 months... Now managers will bend what was said about the raises and the expectation in place at that time even when they may have not even been with the company when these promises were made. raises never showed up for anyone but the people who were willing to sacrifice their own way of living for the company. this is an 8hr shift and the guys with the only slight raises are working over 12 hrs. Maybe other positions are better but the purchasing analyst position is nothing but a stepping stone for someone to get their omvic and find more meaningful work elsewhere.

Great company to work for that’s changing the game
From someone who has worked in the automotive field for 20 years this company changes the way it’s been done. Processes and thinking outside the box is key. It’s definitely go go go as the automotive world always is to get things done. The team is great. Everyone gets along and works together. It’s a new company in Ontario and there’s a lot to learn/change/develop with room to grow and expand. Game changer company in the used car world.

Upper management recognizes efforts being put forward and shows that work is recognized and appreciated. Makes all the difference as an employee, day in and day out!
