Poor Wages. No Marketing, so few clients
Management need to put Marketing as a priority before they lose any more good Care Givers. Business is slow. Management is stressed. Atmosphere in the office is tense because of it.

An extremely demanding work environment both personally and professionally.
This organization is a 24-hour environment. While this level of commitment from staff ensures top-tier attention and maximized individual efforts are directed towards outstanding client care, this expectation of round-the-clock dedication without clear dictates of availability or unavailability is not for the faint of heart.

My review
I enjoyed Home Instead very much. The clients were amazing. Each one of them had a different and unique personality. Sometimes it could emotionally drain you as it break your heart to see some of the things they’re broken by. Having loved ones passing away, removed (for their safety) from their homes and into facilities that can manage them better as well as provide the ultimate care one needs.

Long hours/ poor pay/sent to differnet locations
Companionship//had you do psw work skills
and paid you minimum wage. They had you drive from one end of oakville to mississauga or burlington
wasteing your gas.
Only enjoyed the companionship of seniors
