Points négatifsnon
Delivery Coordinator | Calgary, AB | 12 déc. 2020
Long shifts. Work on weekends hard family balance.
Great staff and good people working there. Just long shifts. Deliver refrigerators up stairs and heavy furniture if your into it. If customers have not moved their old couch you Have to move it for them.
Points négatifsLong hours

Supportive atmosphere
Great training, and great management. Staff was friendly and code ethics were always in check. Great practice for experience with customers. Shifts were fair and equal.

Did not value employees
Low hourly wage, regularly worked 8AM until 6 or 8PM while technically a part-time employee. Expected to use my personal vehicle for company purposes, and never received reimbursement for mileage, which i was told would happen. extreme micro-managing was a part of everyday life
Front Office Manager | Hamilton, ON | 23 janv. 2018
Very Productive
Workplace was a very good one to work at, very productive and good work environment. Management team was great to work with and so so were my co-workers. Learned a lot more to do with financing and how to do deal with customer service issues with product in their home. Enjoyed my time working here, definitely would recommend it for anyone.

easy and fun job.
Leons is a good job for someone entry level into front office, customer service or warehouse work. As front office my daily work was phones, reports, filing, paper work, booking deliveries, calling customers, taking calls, cleaning, taking payments and handling financing as well as cash.
Customer Service Representative | Greater Sudbury, ON | 11 août 2016
My ideal work day
I work in a fast paced sales driven environment and i am always dealing with I rate customers and solving there issues. I do however have a very unsteady work schedule and am looking for something that is more reliable.
Points positifsGreat staff
Points négatifsUnsteady schedule

Very exhausting
Considering the fact i was a warehouse customer service associate, there was a lot of heavy lifting to do when you first start the job. However, as the shift continues and customers start making their way to the clearance section where i am placed is when it is more interesting as you get to deal with customers. The fun part is trying to sell them the products and convince them to buy it.

Professional and great place to work!
Ive learned great multitasking, task managing and interpersonal skills working at this Leon's location! Very laid back workplace leaves a very relaxing atmosphere that has me looking forward to coming into work each morning, regardless of the workload.
Points positifsGreat break times, very relaxing work setting
Points négatifslots of pressure for deadlines and paperwork
Door Supervisor | Edmonton, AB | 27 juin 2015
Entry level workplace with little chance of advancement
Entry level workplace, rapid change of workers. Managers and coworkers are friendly, but without proper human resource regulations, it is hard to work here for a long time. Inventory, receiving and management skills can be learnt here, which is the best part. When there is little customers--and it happens frequently-- the job can be super boring. There is little chance to get a raise unless changing the position. A very good place for young people to gain experience, but it is not a place for career seekers.

Vos supérieurs sont-ils facilement abordables chez Leon's Furniture?

It's really two jobs, and they conflict. Be realistic and up front: if floor manager salary is 20% of income it should be 20% of your time and attention; however, if you are responsible for checking and signing sales bills, and closing sales, you have to make that all work while generating your own sales. In my opinion, it's a job that really should not exist. To make a living, you compete against the people that need you - whether they accept that or not - and you are busy selling at the busiest times. Times when staff need the greatest supervision.

Is the sales associate position commission only
Posée le 25 janv. 2018
3% commission and you are in a hourly draw. If you don't make enough commission (deliver enough product in a pay period) to cover the hours you've worked then you will go into the draw. For example: If you work $200 worth of hourly wage, but only deliver $100 worth of commissions than you will then owe the company $100. They can not claw you back PAST the hourly wage you have earned. Example: If you earned $200 in hourly wages they can not claw back(reduce) your pay any more than that. Example: If your following pay cheque you worked $200 worth of hourly wage and you earned $300 in commission then they will reduce your pay back down to $200 and you will no longer be in the draw. The next pay cheque you will need to make more in commission then you would make in an hourly wage to prevent going back into the draw. In my experience you should be out of the draw within the first 3 months and then you will be in the draw at least once a year after you've gotten into a groove due to the slow season (usually January- up until tax return time)

Yes, you get a commission or minimum wage, you get higher one, if you work hard, you get more than minimum wage by the way. some time you get good salary if you make a good sales.
