more challenging and social enveronment, i did learn how to deal with people from differents cultures and nations, to be more respectul and much cooperatives, the management is good, i have not experience any disqualification.All co-workes are just adorable and is like a second familly.to deal with clients when they are not satisfied and try to find a solution in a manner of respect. More active and much accurate is a number one of the deal part.

Productive and great learning experience at Roots Waterloo
A typical day at Roots, is engaging with every customer that walks into our store and making sure all their needs are met! Over the past years I have learned how to communicate and to give excellent customer service. I have been able to learn how to time manage when having to do visual merchandising with a team. Management over the past year have been organized and well run. I have been able to work with a fantastic team at Roots Waterloo.

Productive creative environment with a team atmosphere
A typical day at Roots would consist of receiving shipment and merchandising based on business needs as well as maintaining great customer service. There is a great team feel and plenty of support given by your coworkers. Hardest part was being able to balance managing the team, serving customers and maintaining stores aesthetic appeal. The most enjoyable part of the job was having the ability to be creative with the merchandising as well as building great relationships with customers.

Typical day, I clocked in. Supervisors where more than accomodating. Work environment fast-paced, friendly with a lot of room for growth. It was a good retail job.

a challenging but doable environment to upgrade one's sales skill
1. some paperwork, folding/rearranging merchandized clothes/leather products, focus on sales only when customers are in the store
2. be more observant in customer's behaviors (eye, language used, tone, movement are all indicators) quick and assertive in your decision to close a deal.
3. there's no introduced established system or technical steps clearly laid out to help team sales (and teamwork) more efficient. Figure out your own system through trial-and-error
4. amazing co-workers that make you realize every one of them are significant contributors to day to day's team sale target
5. dealing with low EQ individuals and poor communication and logic
6. customers are satisfied of their purchase and walk out with an appreciation of bright smiles

good people
depends on the people you work with. most of the staff were friendly. found one of the main managers to be quiet unfair and not considerate towards emergency situations.
