good place to work, alot to learn, management is slow but good, breaks and lot of training very skillful people in training dept, they have answer for all job related question, job is easy once you get settle down with system and navigation's.
The pay, benefits, and hours are good. When joining I was offered a choice between a split shift (4 hours, several off, then another 4 hours,) 4x10 hour days per week, and 5x8 hour days per week. The shifts are consistent with opportunities for overtime and not once did my shift change in my time with the company.
They want you to follow a specific script 'done your way,' to make it feel less robotic. Every interaction in the company felt like everyone else was reading off a script. The QA persons, the direct supervisor, everyone felt as hollow and impersonal as can be.
Worth a shot, if you can get used to it then it's a good pay for call center work, reliable hours, and good benefits.
Points positifsConsistent hours, provide equipment, good benefits, good pay
Points négatifsRobotic expectations, impersonal management, high expectations
I found this a Great company to work for you could work at call center or from home if you qualified I did Internet Support and really enjoyed It
I found this was a very good company to work for. I was an internet Tech and did customer support. I also was involved in TV support. I found the Supervisors were very helpful. You were able to work at the
call center or from your own home which was very convenient.

Place to work
I loved the people i worked with. Didn't like the secretive way they conducted management. Hardest part of the job was shift uncertainty. Also having to feel like you had to fight for a day off.
Transcomm which used to be NuComm (no longer carries my client)
This was for an American telecommunications company for their billing and new services. I was a billing supervisor here and took escalated calls and complaints. I also did floor support and training. This is where I learned how to be a good coach/supervisor through trial and error. The management was great and was always available. My co-works were very friendly and always there to help out each other.
The hardest part of the job was figuring out some of the bills and some work orders if the system was being difficult.
I enjoyed all aspects of my job.
I left the job only because I was moving to another city. The company was sold and my position no longer exists.
Points positifsFlexible hours, great atomsphere
Points négatifsCan't think of any

Enjoyed working at Transcom for over 12 years until they closed the doors
A typical day was an 8 hr shift of taking calls from customers.
I learned I am capable of working with all sorts of customers and staff.
Most of the management was good.
The hardest part of the job was allowing customers to swear at me.
The most enjoyable part of the job was when I was able to help a customer and they were happy with the results.

Fun at work. So many surprises and games. Competitive compensation.
Working with transcom was fun. Meet new people with different culture. I can say that their account was huge. We were handling Comcast Retention and Billing department. Management was excellent and their training was fantastic. I would highly recommend Transcom to my friends.

Remote awesome job
I have worked for 1 and 1/2 year. It was great. Sometimes it is very busy, but still a good place to work. I was in a bilingual position.
My manager was awesome and it was a good experience to work for Transcom.
Transcom is a fast paced environment in which people can balance work and have fun at the same time. I manage to learn a lot in Transcom specially how to handle customers and provide great customer satisfaction. Overall the company provide a healthy environment in which staff would grow and learn a lot.
