What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused DZ Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to customers while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and service. You will operate company vehicles (automatic transmission), ensuring all deliveries are accurate, timely, and handled with care.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-conscious, and committed to providing exceptional customer service. This position also requires adherence to all health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies. You will play a key role in representing the company on the road and at customer locations while ensuring product quality and maintaining positive customer relationships.
Shift: Early morning start Tuesday to Friday, and 1 overnight trip to Windsor each week.
What You'll Do
- Deliver products safely and on time using company vehicles (refrigerated vans/box trucks)
- Verify orders against invoices to ensure accuracy
- Maintain product quality and presentation during transport
- Provide professional, courteous customer service at delivery locations
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
- Keep delivery vehicles clean, organized, and properly equipped
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as required
- Communicate effectively with logistics and warehouse teams
- Report product damage, shortages, or safety concerns promptly
- Adhere to food safety, quality, and health & safety standard
What You Bring
- 2–5 years of delivery driving experience required
- Valid DZ license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Air brake endorsement required
- Ability to lift 30–50lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Warehouse/order picking experience considered an asset
- Forklift certification considered an asset
- Strong communication skills; self-motivated and team-oriented
