Overview:
Here is your opportunity to join RDLC. We are actively recruiting for Ironworkers of all levels of experience to join us on our Surrey-Langley Skytrain project. As an Ironworker, you will play a crucial role in the installation of structural and miscellaneous steel, working under the guidance of a Foreman. Your expertise, hard work, and adherence to safety standards will be vital in ensuring that works are completed successfully.
What you will be doing:

Assist in the installation of structural and miscellaneous steel under the supervision of a Foreman.

Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures

Unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
-
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.

Use hand and power tools to cut, weld, and assemble steel components.

Follow all safety protocols

Collaborate with team members, maintaining effective communication and a positive attitude.

Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment, ensuring functionality and safety.

Other duties as assigned by the Foreman or other supervisory staff.

This Project is being executed under a Project Labour Agreement. All successful candidates for this role will need to sign up with the IW97 union.

Salary Min: CAD $28.85/Hr. Salary Max: CAD $52.45/Hr.
