Speech-Language Pathologist (Contractor)

Babble & Bloom is a pediatric speech, language, and behavior support practice based in Edmonton, providing in-home services for children and families across the city and surrounding area. We're looking for a warm, curious, and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join us as a contractor, delivering in-person sessions in clients' homes.

- Babble represents the early sounds and connections that form the foundation of speech and language, the coos, gestures, and first words that support children as their language grows.
- Bloom represents growth in all its forms, including executive functioning, emotional development, confidence, and everyday skills, helping children build the tools they need to regulate and find success at home, school, and in daily life.

What You'll Do
- Provide in-home speech and language therapy for pediatric clients throughout Edmonton and area
- Develop and carry out individualized, play-based treatment plans
- Build genuine, trusting relationships with children and their caregivers
- Equip parents with practical tools and confidence to support their child's communication journey between sessions
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in Jane App
- Collaborate with our team as needed on shared clients or complex cases
What We're Looking For
- Active registration with ACSLPA (or eligibility for registration)
- A neurodiversity-affirming, connection-first approach to therapy
- Comfort and confidence delivering care in clients' homes
- Strong communication skills with both children and caregivers
- Reliable transportation (mileage is compensated)
- Experience with pediatric caseloads preferred, but new grads with the right approach are welcome to apply
