Early Childhood Educator (Level 2 or Level 3)
Bow Blossoms Childcare is seeking passionate Level 2 and Level 3 Early Childhood Educators to join our growing team. Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where children can learn, explore, and thrive through play-based education. We value dedicated educators and offer opportunities for professional development and career growth, with the potential to advance into leadership roles such as Lead Educator, Assistant Director, or Director based on qualifications and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, play-based learning experiences.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment that supports every child's growth and well-being.
- Observe, assess, and document children's development while maintaining open communication with families.
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through positive guidance.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets all health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the team, participate in professional development, and contribute to continuous program improvement.
Please note that the responsibilities listed above are not exhaustive and may be adjusted or expanded based on the operational needs of the childcare centre.
Qualifications & Skills
- Alberta Early Childhood Educator Level 2 or Level 3 Certification.
- Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development and play-based learning.
- Excellent classroom management and positive behavior guidance skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting each child's individual needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with families and colleagues.
- Experience supporting children with diverse abilities or additional needs is considered an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a safe, nurturing, and professional atmosphere.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and perform other duties as assigned.
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
