Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Member Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our members, providing exceptional customer service and support. Your responsibilities will include assisting members with their accounts, promoting our services, and ensuring a positive experience at every interaction. Duties
- Greet members warmly and address their inquiries in person or over the phone
- Assist members with account management, including deposits, withdrawals, and updates
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash management procedures
- Promote and upsell financial products and services to meet member needs
- Process payments, perform cash handling duties, and ensure proper documentation
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and member interactions
- Provide information about our services, membership benefits, and current promotions
- Support team efforts to meet branch goals through effective sales techniques
- Ensure compliance with all security and confidentiality policies during transactions
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Strong sales ability with experience in upselling products or services
- Knowledge of financial services and banking operations preferred
- Proficiency in cash handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures
- Basic math skills for balancing cash drawers and processing transactions accurately
- Effective communication skills to assist members clearly and courteously
