Pembina Hills School Division is seeking applicants for a Full Time Licensed Automotive Mechanic. This position is located in Westlock with duties commencing as soon as possible.

- $41.63 per hour for Journeyperson ($42.88 per hour for Journeyperson, effective September 1, 2026)
- 8 hours per day Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
The Division
Pembina Hills School Division provides education to approximately 3800 students in 15 community schools in north central Alberta. PHSD also provides education to over 10,000 students from within and beyond our borders, through our online school, Vista Virtual School.
PHSD currently operates 68 bus routes, transporting approximately 3,000 students daily. There are 2 contract routes and 66 routes operated by division drivers. For more information on our remarkable Division, please visit our website at
Qualifications:

Alberta Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate

Proficiency in electrical repairs is an asset

Lift up to 50 pounds

Class 1 or 2 license would be an asset

First Aid Training

Computer Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Must be willing to respond to roadside breakdowns

Able to work as a member of the Transportation team
