Medical Office Assistant / Clinical Assistant
Key Responsibilities
· Provide front-office administration, including answering calls, emails, and patient inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and manage physician calendars.
- Greet patients and facilitate check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage electronic medical records and ensure accurate data entry.
- Process invoices, collect payments, and maintain financial records.
- Send and receive faxes, referrals, and medical reports.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of office and medical supplies.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy and information security requirements.
- Assist with administration of immunizations and injections (certification required).
- Strong computer, administrative, and data-entry skills.
- Willingness to work some evenings and weekends
Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate in Medical Office Assistant
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR); Telus PS Suite experience, an asset.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate in Phlebotomy or willingness to obtain certification
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to communicate in Urdu and/or Hindi is considered an asset.
Job Types: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

- Certificate of Medical Office Assistant (preferred)
- certificate to perform injections /immunizations (preferred)
