Seeking a full time insider to work at our Amherst, NS branch. Responsible for prepping, baking products, oven tending, order taking, customer service, cleaning tasks. Full time available for someone with an open availability, especially if you can work closing shifts. Ability to progress to a shift runner if you perform well. PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY ASSISTING WITH IMMIGRATION.
Compensation:
-17 per hour with increases upon completion of training. The more tasks you can effectively do the more you will be paid.

Duties
- Prepare food items according to company standards, maintaining quality and safety protocols
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas following food safety guidelines
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Prior food preparation or food service experience preferred; restaurant experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing necessary
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
