Seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver for a permanent position in a private home. This role involves providing personal support to an adult with a physical disability, along with occasional child care and household assistance.
No PSW certificate is required. Training is provided, including personal care routines and the use of specialized equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility support (transfers, positioning, and exercises)
- Assist with daily routines, medication reminders, and care-related tasks
- Prepare meals and assist with household tasks including laundry, dishes, tidying, and general cleaning
- Provide occasional child care support including diaper changes, bathing, and supervision
- Support tasks that promote the employer’s independence and quality of life
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Respectful of confidentiality and privacy
- Non-smoker
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
Schedule
Weekday shifts available: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation
- Personal Support duties: $25/hour
- Child Care duties: $19/hour
- (Rate depends on duties performed during the shift)
- Compensation is provided through regular payroll. This is not a cash position.
