Job description:
We are looking for someone to join our bakery team! Come be a part of the wonderful Stoke Market team in our facility in Kimberley BC. The wage fluctuation is based on whether you have previous training or not.
Responsibilities:
- Make and bake our signature sourdough bread
- Prepare our delicious sandwiches, wraps, and salads for our grab n' go
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bakery or restaurant is not mandatory but is beneficial
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is an asset
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately is essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Working in a dynamic, fast paced environment with a team of amazing people
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physical Requirements
- Continuous standing/walking for all tasks
- Lifting and carrying up to 22 kg
- Frequent turning and reaching
- Occasional pushing, pulling and forward bending
- Ability to lift at least 10 kg to a height of 1.7 metres
- Constant use of both hands, with frequent wrist rotation and flexing, occasional forceful gripping
- 8-10 hour shifts
