Here is what you will be doing each day:
As a Bell Person, you will:
- Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Use a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate action and provide accurate information such as outlet hours, local attractions and getting around.
- Assist guests with their luggage during arrival, stay and departure
- Maintain the cleanliness of the bell stand, lobby area and baggage room.
- Deliver messages and valet items to guest rooms in a timely and friendly manner.
- Perform the duties of a valet as required, parking and retrieving guest vehicles from assigned parking areas. Inspect vehicles for safety and cleanliness.
- Other duties as assigned
Does this sound like you?
- Post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field a definite an asset
- Must have a valid class 4 BC Driver’s License, must provide a clean driver's record and be able to drive an automatic and standard vehicle
- Team player and a self-starter, able to work independently
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 23 kilograms without assistance. Capable of frequent bending, standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule which may include AM, PM weekend and holiday shifts
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
