We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling practices
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards during food preparation and serving
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfillment
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about menu items and restaurant operations
