Looking for a temp RDH to work from August 15 to August 31st, 2026!
Non-corporate small family dental practice that prioritizes patient care. Hygiene appointments are generally 75-90 minutes long and are in a large spacious operatory with big windows and natural light. The hygienist will have a new DS Cavitron and Bioclear Biofilm Blaster available for use with patients, as needed.
Duties
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, polishing teeth, and fluoride application.
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized dental care instructions
- Administer local anesthesia as needed.
- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile and organized treatment area
Experience
- Must be registered with the BCCOHP
- Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry
- Experience with orthodontics and pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Familiarity with Tracker dental office software is preferred
- Bilingual skills (English/Chinese) are highly desirable
- Previous experience in dental assisting or customer service roles is beneficial
