Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection prevention protocols.
- Take and process dental radiographs.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
- Ensure operatories are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Support the dental team in delivering a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant with current certification and eligibility to practice in British Columbia.
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with dental practice management software is an asset but not required.
Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30-5:00 in August and September. Monday to Thursday after September.
No weekend and evening.
