D'Italia fresh pasta & cheese deli is located inside the Granville Island Public Market. We are currently seeking someone for a permanent counter position. D'Italia offers a flexible schedule however the successful candidate must have weekend availability. Shift lengths vary (shift length 6 hours to 8 hours) The position available has an anticipated weekly scheduled 28-40 hours. Must be friendly and outgoing with a customer focused attitude. D'Italia also offers free lunch and a great discount on delicious food. Potential for wage increase and bonus after 3 months.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to-
- serving customers in a friendly engaging matter
- receiving orders and putting them away in our storage/fridges
- cleaning and sanitizing counters and shop/maintaining cleanliness standards
- filling pasta/olive/deli displays
Granville Island Market is bustling with people and energy in the summer months. This position is suited for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and is a self starter. Must love food and people!
