Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to an individuals with disabilities within their homes. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for caregiving, working nurturing environment. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need by offering assistance with daily activities, developmental support, and emotional encouragement.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including medication reminders if applicable.
- Help with light household tasks.
- Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and effective care.
- Foster a positive environment that encourages learning, growth, to individuals with disabilities.
Requirements
- Demonstrated caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to work independently within the home setting while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to clients’ homes as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years old and pass background checks as required by law or agency policies.
- Must be living in Canada and we cannot support SINP or PR applications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.35-$30.23 per hour
