Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Kitchen Helper/Cashier to join our team. This role involves assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and providing excellent customer service at the cashier station. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly to ensure timely service
- Support kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks and food handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and provide friendly service to customers
- Serve customers at the counter or drive-thru, taking orders efficiently and courteously
- Follow all food safety guidelines and proper hygiene practices during food handling and service
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Assist with inventory management and storage of ingredients and supplies
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to perform meal preparation tasks efficiently and accurately
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if required
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
