Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Aluminium Fabricator to join our dynamic sign manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and finishing aluminium components used in a variety of construction applications relating to the sign industry. Your expertise will help ensure high-quality craftsmanship, precision, and efficiency in every project. Duties
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately fabricate aluminium structures.
- Cut, shape, and assemble aluminium materials using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment.
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and other heavy equipment safely within the warehouse or manufacturing facility.
- Weld aluminium components with precision to meet quality standards and safety regulations.
- Use assembly techniques to join fabricated parts into finished products or structures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during fabrication and assembly processes.
- Conduct quality checks throughout production to ensure all aluminium components meet specifications before delivery or installation.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to metal fabrication, machining, and assembly processes.
- Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Skilled in welding techniques specific to aluminium materials.
- Proficiency with hand tools used in manufacturing and construction environments.
- Knowledge of manufacturing workflows and construction site requirements.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management is advantageous.
