Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Site Superintendent for residential renovation projects. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in construction management, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams and subcontractors effectively. The Site Superintendent will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and project teams, maintaining high standards of quality and adherence to project specifications.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and labor teams to meet project deadlines
- Review construction plans, shop drawings, and construction documents to verify accuracy and clarity before work begins
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure work meets design specifications and industry standards
- Oversee safety protocols and enforce OSHA regulations on-site
- Coordinate with client's representative to resolve design or technical issues at site
- Prepare progress reports and maintain detailed documentation of project milestones and challenges
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential construction management with a strong background in supervising teams on-site
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and construction techniques
- Ability to read detailed construction plans and shop drawings accurately
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise multiple crews effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules and documentation
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Construction experience in residential projects is required; additional certifications or training in construction management are a plus
Pay: $1,500.00-$1,875.00 per week
