Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling standards
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and utensils to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, promoting safe drinking practices and adhering to alcohol service regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during busy hours and contribute to a positive team environment
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably as a bartender or server
- Strong knowledge of POS systems for accurate cashiering and transaction processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and managing tabs confidently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices for serving alcohol responsibly and maintaining a safe environment
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced hospitality setting
