Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and takes pride in producing clean, accurate work from start to finish.
This role involves interpreting shop drawings, fabricating architectural steel components, welding to a high cosmetic standard, and assisting with installation when required.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate custom architectural steel projects from shop drawings
- MIG and TIG weld mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Fit, fabricate, and assemble components with precision
- Grind and finish welds to architectural-quality standards
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications
- Operate fabrication equipment including:
- Bandsaw
- Cold saw
- Drill press
- Hand tools
- Assist with installation of fabricated products on-site
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work independently while collaborating effectively with the fabrication team
- Identify fabrication challenges and contribute practical solutions
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 5 years welding and fabrication experience
- Strong MIG welding experience
- Ability to read fabrication drawings
- Experience fitting and fabricating custom steel assemblies
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to lift 50 lbs
Preferred
- TIG welding experience
- Stainless steel fabrication experience
- Aluminum fabrication experience
- Architectural metal fabrication experience
- Installation experience
- Forklift certification (asset)

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday 6am - 230pm
- Occasional overtime as required
