Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle issues accurately using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
- Conduct complex repairs including engine work, transmission servicing, suspension repairs, and electrical diagnostics.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently.
- Interpret technical schematics and repair manuals to ensure precise work according to manufacturer specifications.
- Assist with vehicle inspections and ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality control measures.
- Lift heavy components safely during repairs and maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven Kia experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with brand-specific systems and procedures.
- Skilled in welding, assembly, and the use of various hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of schematics, electrical systems, and mechanical components essential for troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repair tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repair needs and vehicle status.
