Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and finishing surfaces to meet quality standards. Experience in dealership settings, automotive repair, or with power tools is highly desirable.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper paint adhesion
- Apply primer, paint, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Inspect painted surfaces for quality and touch up as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area throughout the painting process
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Assist with heavy lifting of materials or equipment as required
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or repairs needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in automotive or dealership painting is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive repair processes are advantageous
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in painting and surface preparation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Experience working with automotive or industrial coatings is a plus
- Mechanic experience is beneficial but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
