Reporting to: Clinic Leader / Regional Leader
Locations: Various locations across Ontario - Milton & Mississauga, Brampton, Newmarket, Orangeville, North York, Thornhill, and Toronto, London, Sarnia, Simcoe, Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, Scarborough, Pickering, Oshawa & Whitby and Lindsay. Please note that these vacancies are open at a variety of our locations across Ontario and our employees may be assigned to one or more locations depending upon our scheduling needs.

Responsibilities:
Administer diagnostic x-ray procedures and examinations. (Only applicable to X-Ray Technologists)
May perform radiation detection through gamma cameras, scanners, scintillation counters, tomodensitometers and ionization chambers, to acquire data for use by nuclear medicine physicians in the diagnosis of disease. (Only applicable to Nuclear Technologists)
- Maintain all company standards including quality of work and results, test procedure and methodology, turn-around time, confidentiality of test results; assist and/or provide training as required.
- Ensure patient comfort and confidence in the competence and professionalism of the centre and its staff. The technologist’s duties are to be performed under the guidance of the clinic leader.
- Prepare reports for the information; answer technical questions, carrying out any necessary information
Demonstrate knowledge on company procedures and standards; including procedures relating to the performance and documentation of examinations, booking system reporting procedures, turn-around time, equipment, and methods used in other company centers, and the amount of training required to attain familiarity.
- Ensure personal development through training courses and/or training appropriately to upgrade technical skills, abilities and knowledge.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities that may be assigned and ability to work in various shifts.
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Current and valid Certificate of Registration with the Association of Medical Radiation Technologists of the relevant province.
Knowledge and proficiency in general nuclear medicine procedures.
Maintain current CPR and First Aid certificate.
Maintain competence in position by attending staff meetings.
Strong organizational and interpersonal awareness & skills, good command of the English language and excellent
communication skills, accuracy, dependable, flexible, judgement, reliable and team player, attention to detail.
Ability to work varying shifts and ability to work independently as well as part of a team and in a fast paced environment.
Self-evaluate performance, establish personal objectives and participate in yearly staff performance review.
