Urbanmine is one of Manitoba's leading metal recycling and processing companies. Our maintenance team plays a critical role in keeping our operation running safely and efficiently. We are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician who enjoys troubleshooting, welding, fabrication, and solving mechanical problems in a fast-paced environment.

What You will be Working On
You'll maintain and repair a wide variety of industrial equipment including:
- Conveyor Systems
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Electric motors and gearboxes
- Material handling equipment
- Structural steel and custom fabrication projects
- Preventative maintenance upgrades
Every day is different, and you'll have the opportunity to use your welding, fabrication, and mechanical skills to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment failures
- Perform MIG, Stick, and fabrication welding
- Complete preventative maintenance inspections
- Replace bearings, motors, gearboxes, chains, belts and hydraulic components
- Read mechanical drawings and fabricate replacement parts when required
- Complete work orders using our CMMS
- Work safely while supporting production and continuous improvement initiatives
- Recommend improvements that increase equipment reliability and uptime
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- Strong welding and fabrication experience
- Industrial mechanical maintenance experience
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Class 5 Drivers licence
Assest (We'll Train the Right Person)
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience with conveyors and industrial equipment
- Experience operating forklifts, loaders, skid steers
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs
