Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) – Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics
Yorkton Pediatric Dentistry & Yorkton Orthodontics is seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and motivated Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our growing specialty practice in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities
As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will:
- Assist pediatric dentists and orthodontists during clinical procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
- Take digital radiographs, intraoral scans, impressions, and clinical photographs.
- Assist with orthodontic procedures, including bonding, debonding, appliance delivery, archwire and ligature changes (within scope of practice), and orthodontic emergencies.
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, orthodontic appliances, elastics, retainers, expanders, and home care.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and charting.
- Follow infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
- Monitor inventory and maintain clinical supplies.
- Support an efficient patient flow while delivering outstanding customer service.
- Work collaboratively with both the clinical and administrative teams to provide an exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) licensed or eligible for licensing in Saskatchewan.
- Pediatric or orthodontic experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Orthodontic Module is considered an asset. Candidates interested in orthodontics and willing to obtain their Orthodontic Module are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with Dentrix, Dolphin and digital technology is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
