We're looking for a driven and detail-orientedQA Engineer (Co-op) to join our growingProducts& Technology team in Toronto. This team is passionate about delivering high-quality, scalable solutions to serve over 600,000 members.

You will be responsible for:

Support the development and maintenance of automated test scripts
Execute test cases and document results in a test management tool
Assist in identifying manual test cases that are good candidates for automation
Work collaboratively in an agile team with QA Engineers, Developers, and Product Owners
Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and team discussions
Help configure and manage test data across testing environments
Learn and apply Agile testing practices in a real-world setting
Contribute to test coverage reviews against business requirements and user stories
Assist with troubleshooting and debugging test failures

Preferred Skills& Experience:

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
Some exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks is an asset
Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript)
Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines
Aptitude to think out of the box and have good problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to share and exchange ideas with your team members and management
High integrity and discretion to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information
Experience in Zephyr/JIRA application is an asset
Knowledge and understanding of SQL and database concepts will be an asset
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) is an asset
Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) is an asset
Eagerness to constantly learn and update your skills in our cross-platform environment, and you like to share knowledge with others
An interest in coding / computer programming
Prior experience with coding in JavaScript or Python is a plus but not mandatory
Must be enrolled in a co-op program at a recognized post-secondary institution

The expected salary range for this position is $50,700.00 - $70,200.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract.
You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS& Oxford offer letters.
