Chilliwack Mitsubishi is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting & Administrative Assistant to support our accounting department and daily dealership operations. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in staying organized, and is committed to providing excellent administrative support.

Position Details

Full-Time: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Wage: $23.00 per hour
Location: Chilliwack, BC

Responsibilities

As our Accounting & Administrative Assistant, you'll be responsible for a variety of administrative and accounting duties, including:

Scanning invoices and documents into Microsoft Teams with accurate file names and organization
Posting daily cash reports
Entering accounts payable invoices
Printing cheque runs as directed by the Controller
Entering vehicle inventory into the PBS dealership management system
Preparing and emailing hourly payroll reports
Completing daily bank deposits and lien cheque deliveries using company vehicles
Filing invoices, deals, and accounting documents
Managing office and janitorial supply inventory and placing orders with management approval
Monitoring the accounts payable email inbox to ensure invoices are processed promptly or forwarded appropriately
Assisting management and the accounting team with additional administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who has:

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong computer and administrative abilities
The ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Professional communication skills
A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Experience with accounting or administrative work (preferred)
Experience with PBS dealership software (an asset, but not required)

Requirements

Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (company vehicles are used for daily bank runs)
Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check
Reliable transportation to and from work
