Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selection, inquiries, and provide outstanding service to ensure satisfaction
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges
- Manage merchandising displays to promote products effectively and maintain attractive store layouts
- Support purchasing activities by monitoring inventory levels and assisting with stock replenishment
- Supervise daily store operations, including cash handling, pricing adjustments, and store cleanliness
- Train new team members on store procedures, POS operation, customer service standards, and safety protocols
- Lead team management efforts by scheduling staff shifts, overseeing performance, and fostering a positive work environment
- Handle administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, and maintaining sales records
- Implement marketing strategies within the store to boost sales and enhance customer engagement
- Ensure compliance with company policies on budgeting, pricing accuracy, and store safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or store management with supervising responsibilities preferred
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle customer complaints effectively
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
- Excellent communication skills coupled with phone etiquette proficiency for customer interactions
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in team management and training & development
- Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising techniques, and retail marketing strategies
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in pricing, bookkeeping, and inventory control
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Administrative experience related to payroll processing or budgeting is a plus
- Math skills necessary for cash handling, sales calculations, and financial recordkeeping
