Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Bookkeeper/Accountant and become a vital part of our financial operations! Duties

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions and maintaining accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Reconcile bank statements and accounts receivable/payable to ensure consistency and accuracy across all financial data
Prepare and analyze account statements, perform account analysis, and conduct regular account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Assist with budgeting activities by tracking expenses, monitoring variances, and providing detailed reports for management review
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures by preparing necessary documentation and reports
Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents in accordance with company policies

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential for managing financial data effectively
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
Experience with payroll processing and related compliance requirements
Ability to perform detailed account analysis and identify discrepancies or irregularities
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial transactions
Knowledge of budgeting processes to support financial planning efforts
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external vendors
