Position: Refrigeration Specialist

Reporting to: Refrigeration Sales Manager

Location: Ontario Canada

Who We Are: Carrier Enterprise Canada (CEC) is a national distributor of residential and light commercial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration products, parts and supplies through licensed HVAC/R dealers and contractors. CE operates primarily in the business-to-business environment where its products are sold through licensed HVAC dealers and HVAC contractors. These dealers are independent companies that sell, deliver and service Carrier, Bryant, & Payne products to residences and businesses in their respective markets. CEC offers customers a wide range of HVAC/R product lines, competitive pricing, best-in-class customer service, and valuable, time-saving services that position CEC as an industry leader. With 34 locations in Canada and over 150+ locations, in 28 states, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico, there is a location to service our customers HVAC/R needs.

We are currently accepting internal and external applications for the Refrigeration Specialist – Ontario Canada

Duties and Responsibilities:

The person will need to have strong refrigeration and compressor knowledge to be able to provide expert customer service to our refrigeration/compressor customers within the target area - Ontario Canada

Provide dedicated customer service and build strong relationships
Grow refrigeration and compressor share of market for the Ontario Region and achieve agreed upon refrigeration and compressor financial goals
Develop and implement market strategies and goals, account strategies and sales plans for the larger refrigeration customers in the Ontario region
Work closely with the regional general manager and sales Center managers to identify refrigeration, compressor and parts opportunities as well as correct product and inventory levels to service customers
Launch new products and ensure all products are priced and promoted at the correct market price level to secure the business
Quote Refrigeration jobs, including cooler and freezer rooms, to customers and help select product for specific refrigeration needs
Set up regular training for customers and store employees

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5-10 years of Refrigeration Sales experience in the HVAC/R industry
Refrigeration and compressor product, market and industry trend knowledge to be able to provide expert customer service and solutions to our refrigeration/compressor customers in Ontario
Post-secondary education in HVAC
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Positive attitude and customer service orientation
