Worship Ministry Coordinator

Position Type: Permanent part-time (10 hrs/week)

Location: 2101 Millbourne Rd W Northwest, Edmonton AB

Position Summary

Are you someone who loves creating worship environments that awaken people to encounter and respond to King Jesus? Are you passionate about leading and developing music and production teams? If so, this could be the role for you.

Role responsibilities

Plan and execute weekend and special services.
Help cultivate a culture of authentic, expressive, and engaged worship and moments where people can respond to God’s movement in their lives.
Help recruit, develop, and empower volunteer teams.
Lead worship as needed, while prioritizing the development of volunteer worship leaders.
Build and manage service plans aligned with series themes, design elements, and global moments.
Coordinate scheduling and communication for worship and production teams using Planning Center and the Global Services Calendar.
Prepare all service elements, including rehearsals, ProPresenter, stage design, and service flow.

Ability to audition musicians and help them grow in their musicianship and worship leadership.
Experience with managing volunteers, empowering ministry teams, and leading worship teams.
Naturally take initiative and can turn ideas into action.
Work well in a collaborative, multi-staff environment.
Organized and able to manage multiple projects at once.

Qualifications

Minimum two-year diploma from a recognized biblical institution (Theology, Biblical Studies, Missiology, or Christian Ministry), and 2+ years of related ministry experience.
Aligned with The Alliance Canada’s statement of faith.
Able to work weekends and evenings, as needed.
Proficient in Planning Centre Online and ProPresenter.
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada before being hired.
