Fort Macleod, AB Part-time

Structural Truss Systems specializes in the design, manufacturing, and transportation of custom roof trusses, floor systems, and wall panels for every size of residential, commercial, and agricultural projects. We operate out of over 90,000 square feet of manufacturing facility in Fort MacLeod, AB, just 25 minutes west of Lethbridge, AB.

We are currently looking to fill the following opportunity at our Fort Macleod Facility:

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Type: Part Time 3 Day Work Week

Location: Fort Macleod, AB

Scope

Supporting our design department, this role will ideally work 3 days a week from 8am to 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities

Answer the Structural Truss Systems design telephone calls and messages
Greet people and direct them to the appropriate team member via phone and in person
Production paperwork processing
Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
Determine and establish office procedures and routines
Compile data, statistics, and other information
Correspond with owners and subcontractors on projects to assist the Design Department
Ensure the archiving of the project records is performed
Stock and organize office supplies
Perform any other related administrative duties

Qualifications

High school diploma required, college background in office administration considered an asset
2 to 5 years of experience in similar functions is an asset
Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
Knowledge of construction industry considered an asset
Excellent communication skills
Excellent time-management skills (stay focused on tasks at hand)
Ability to work in teams and communicate both verbally and written
