CNC Programmer (Fusion 360) – Join Our Advanced Manufacturing Team

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll develop, optimize and maintain CNC programs that support the production of precision-machined components while driving efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement throughout our manufacturing operations.
Working closely with engineering, production and machining teams, you'll play a key role in transforming CAD models into efficient machining strategies for complex 3-axis and 5-axis applications. Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Autodesk Fusion 360 CAM.
- Develop efficient toolpaths for complex components using 5-axis machining.
- Interpret CAD models, engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
- Select appropriate tooling, machining strategies, feeds and speeds to maximize productivity and part quality.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize existing programs to reduce cycle times and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production and operations teams to support manufacturing objectives.
- Verify CNC programs prior to production and provide technical support during machine setup and first-off runs.
- Maintain organized program documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency with Autodesk Fusion 360 CAM, including toolpath creation and optimization.
- Solid understanding of CNC machining principles, cutting tools, workholding, feeds and speeds, and machining strategies.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret CAD models, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
- Experience programming 5-axis CNC machining centers; hands-on 5-axis programming experience is considered a strong asset.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a commitment to quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, production, and operations teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
