Jr.IT Support Specialist
Role Overview
We are looking for an Jr. IT Support & Operations Specialist to provide first-line and intermediate IT support across our organization. This position is a great opportunity for someone with foundational IT support experience who is ready to grow into broader systems, applications, network, cloud, and operational technology support responsibilities.
This role works closely with Bevo’s internal IT function, operational departments, and external vendors to support users, maintain IT devices, manage accounts and access permissions, and help ensure the reliable operation of IT and greenhouse-related systems.
The successful candidate will handle day-to-day IT requests, support Microsoft 365 and business applications, assist with device and network troubleshooting, and contribute to documentation, ticketing, change management, and continuous improvement of IT support processes.
Key Responsibilities
End-User Support

Provide first-line and intermediate user support in accordance with ITSM procedures

Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint

Assist with system account and access permission management, including onboarding, offboarding, and access changes

Support users with hardware and software issues

Set up and deploy desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
Systems & Devices

Perform routine maintenance on workstations and assist with basic server-related support tasks

Assist with user account management in Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 admin tools

Install updates, patches, and standard software

Track and manage IT assets and inventory
Networking Support

Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi, wired connectivity, printers, and related issues

Support Ubiquiti UniFi wireless and switching environments, escalating complex issues as needed

Escalate complex network issues to senior team members or external vendors when appropriate
Business Applications

Provide basic user support for Microsoft Dynamics ERP and other internal business systems

Assist users with data access and reporting tools such as Power BI

Assist with testing and user support for system changes or upgrades
IoT & Greenhouse Systems

Work with senior staff and vendors to help resolve system alerts or outages

Help maintain reliable data flow between operational systems and IT infrastructure
Documentation & Process

Document common issues and solutions

Follow ITSM-based procedures for ticketing, escalation, and change management

Contribute to improving support processes and user experience
Qualifications
Required
-
3+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, systems support, or a related technical support role

Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, computer hardware, and peripherals

Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across user devices, applications, printers, and access-related issues

Strong communication skills and a user-focused support approach

Ability to follow IT procedures, document issues clearly, and escalate when needed

Willingness to learn, take ownership, and grow into more independent technical responsibilities
Preferred

Basic understanding of or experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, or Microsoft 365 admin tools

Basic networking knowledge, including DHCP, VLAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, and firewall concepts

Experience with ticketing, incident management, or change management through ITSM processes

Experience with or interest in Ubiquiti UniFi, ERP systems, Power BI, Active Directory, or operational technology environments
Nice-to-Have

IT certifications or coursework such as CompTIA A+, Network+, MS-900, AZ-900, or similar

Basic scripting or automation exposure, especially PowerShell

Interest in IoT, greenhouse technology, or industrial technology environments

Pay- CAD$57,000 to CAD$58,000 per year based on skills and experience
