We are recruiting licensed security guards for one of Regina's major concert events of 2026.
Foo Fighters will headline the TAKE COVER TOUR 2026 at Mosaic Stadium. This is a large-scale stadium concert requiring professional security personnel capable of maintaining a safe, organized and professional environment throughout guest arrival, the concert and post-event dispersal.
POSITION
Event Security Guard
Security personnel will be responsible for protecting guests, employees, performers, vendors and venue property while maintaining effective access control, crowd management and incident response throughout the event.
This is a professional event security position. Guards are expected to remain alert, composed, and professional in a high-volume concert environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Access Control & Screening
- Monitor assigned entrances, exits, gates and restricted-access areas.
- Verify credentials, passes and authorized access.
- Conduct screening of guests and belongings in accordance with venue/event procedures.
- Prevent prohibited items from entering the venue.
- Identify and report unauthorized access attempts.
- Maintain controlled access to staff, production and restricted areas.
Crowd & Guest Management
- Monitor crowd movement and identify developing safety concerns.
- Assist with line management, entry flow and crowd-control operations.
- Maintain safe access routes, emergency exits and designated restricted areas.
- Provide clear and professional directions to guests.
- De-escalate difficult situations using calm communication and appropriate security procedures.
Incident Response
- Respond promptly to disturbances, medical emergencies, suspicious activity and other incidents.
- Notify supervisors and emergency services when required.
- Assist with evacuations and emergency procedures when directed.
- Preserve incident scenes when appropriate and follow supervisor instructions.
- Complete accurate incident reports and shift documentation.
Venue & Property Security
- Conduct assigned patrols and security checks.
- Monitor restricted areas, backstage/production areas and other designated locations.
- Deter theft, vandalism, unauthorized entry and other unlawful activity.
- Report hazards, suspicious behaviour and security concerns immediately.
- Protect event infrastructure, equipment and property.
Communication & Reporting
- Maintain continuous communication with supervisors and the event security team.
- Follow radio communication protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, observations and significant security activity.
- Provide professional cooperation with venue management, event organizers, emergency medical personnel and police when required.
QUALIFICATIONS — MANDATORY
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Valid Saskatchewan Security Guard Licence—mandatory.
- Applicant must be legally eligible to work as a security guard in Saskatchewan.
- The security license must be valid and properly associated with the employing/licensed security business before deployment.
- Must complete the company's required Saskatchewan employee/security registration and onboarding process.
- Must successfully complete all required company documentation before receiving a confirmed shift assignment.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Strong communication and observation skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to follow instructions, radio protocols and event-specific security procedures.
- Reliable transportation to/from Mosaic Stadium is strongly preferred.
EXPERIENCE — PREFERRED
Preference may be given to applicants with experience in:
- Concert and festival security
- Stadium or large-event security
- Crowd management
- Access control
- Loss prevention
- Venue security
- CCTV/surveillance
- Emergency response
- Police, corrections, military, or related public-safety environments
Previous large-scale event experience is an asset but is not required where the applicant demonstrates strong security fundamentals and professionalism.
IMPORTANT LICENSING & REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT
A Saskatchewan Security Guard Licence is mandatory for this assignment.
Applicants who already hold a Saskatchewan Security Guard Licence must provide their licence information during the application/onboarding process.
Because Saskatchewan security guard licences are tied to the licensed security business employing the guard, applicants must also complete the company's required employee licensing/registration and onboarding process before working the event.
Applicants should not assume that holding a security licence with another security company automatically authorizes them to work under our company.
All licensing information will be verified before deployment.
Where applicable, applicants may be required to complete the appropriate Saskatchewan Private Investigators and Security Guards Program documentation, including the applicable employee licensing/registration forms.
EVENT EXPECTATIONS
This is a major stadium concert environment. Guards should expect:
- Large crowds and high guest volume
- Extended periods of standing
- High noise levels
- Continuous guest interaction
- Strict access-control procedures
- Increased activity during ingress and egress
- Potential intoxication-related incidents
- Rapidly changing situations
- Coordination with supervisors, venue personnel and emergency responders
Professional conduct is mandatory throughout the entire assignment.
