Cybersecurity in large, complex organizations is not just about firewalls and endpoints. It covers identity and access management, vulnerability response, security incident management, risk and compliance frameworks, and increasingly the protection of operational technology that controls physical infrastructure. Ontario's energy sector is investing in this capability now — both to meet regulatory requirements and to protect systems that have real-world consequences if compromised.
Raise is building a pipeline of Cybersecurity and IAM professionals for contract opportunities with a leading enterprise organization in Ontario's energy sector. This is not a live posting for a single role. Apply once, and we will reach out when a role matches your area of specialization.
About the Opportunity
The organization is actively building out its cybersecurity capability across several dimensions — ServiceNow Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR), and Integrated Risk Management (IRM) platform deployment; SAP GRC and security authorization; IT security advisory and major incident management; and broader endpoint, architecture, and compliance work. The roles range from hands-on technical specialists to senior architects and advisors. None of these roles require a nuclear background — they require cybersecurity depth and the ability to operate in a governed, complex enterprise environment.
What You Could Be Working On
-
Designing and implementing ServiceNow SIR, VR, and IRM solutions for security and risk use cases
-
Managing security authorizations, role design, and access controls within SAP S/4HANA environments
-
Leading major incident response — coordinating across technical teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders
-
Conducting vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and remediation tracking
-
Developing and maintaining security architecture patterns, standards, and governance frameworks
-
Supporting audit readiness and compliance with regulatory and organizational security requirements
-
Integrating security tools — vulnerability scanners, SIEM/SOAR, CMDB — into enterprise platforms
What We're Looking For
-
4 to 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IAM in enterprise environments
-
Experience in at least one of: ServiceNow security modules, SAP GRC/authorizations, security architecture, major incident management, or vulnerability management
-
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001 is a strong asset
-
ITIL 4 Foundation certification is an asset for ITSM-adjacent roles
-
SAP security certifications or ServiceNow certifications are valued for platform-specific roles
