Z-Tech Global IT Solutions Inc. is expanding its technical roster to support clients in the Amherst, Nova Scotia, and Moncton, New Brunswick areas. We are seeking a highly capable, certified Network and Systems Engineer for a casual, as-needed field support role.

In this position, you will be dispatched to evaluate, assess, and resolve client IT issues on-site. This is a highly flexible role where you work and get paid as incidents and projects arise. For the right candidate who consistently delivers excellent service, this casual role has a direct pathway to a full-time, permanent position on our core team.

Key Responsibilities

Client Assessment: Perform on-site evaluations of client IT environments to determine the best technical solutions.
Network & Server Setup: Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise networks, routers, switches, and servers.
Structured Cabling: Run, terminate, and test network cabling for new deployments and office setups.
Systems & Desktop Support: Provide hands-on systems administration and end-user desktop support.
Reporting: Maintain accurate, professional documentation and service reports for all dispatched tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements

Certifications: Must be actively CCNA Certified OR Microsoft Certified (e.g., Azure Administrator, Modern Desktop Administrator, Windows and Linux Server).
Technical Experience: Strong, hands-on background in structured cabling, network deployment, server configuration, and systems support.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for clear client interactions and documentation.
Mobility: Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel to client sites.
