Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Dental Assistant & Data Entry Clerk Full/Part-time to join our dental practice. This full-time or part-time role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where clinical excellence and administrative efficiency are highly valued. The ideal candidate will possess strong dental assisting skills, proficiency with dental software, and excellent organizational abilities. Experience with Epic, Dentrix, and CAD software is preferred, along with knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology. This position plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while maintaining accurate and efficient data management.
Duties
- Assist dentists during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic
- Perform data entry tasks related to patient information, billing, and insurance claims
- Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and handle patient inquiries as a dental receptionist
- Educate patients on treatment plans and post-procedure care using clear medical terminology
- Operate CAD software for designing orthodontic appliances or other dental devices when necessary
- Maintain compliance with health regulations and ensure a clean, organized clinical environment
- Support the administrative team with clerical duties as needed
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar clinical role with knowledge of dental assisting procedures
- Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Dentrix and Epic is highly desirable
- Experience working in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Prior experience with CAD design tools for orthodontic or restorative purposes is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members

Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
