At the South Bay Chip Plant, we believe in providing a safe, supportive, and dynamic work environment. As a Labourer, you’ll play a key role in the daily operations of the plant, supporting production processes and contributing to a team that values hard work and a positive attitude. Production Support – Rotate through various areas of the plant to assist in production processes, including material handling, sorting, and supporting machine operators.
Material Handling and Maintenance – Lift, pull, and pile materials to maintain continuous production flow and ensure accessibility for production teams.
Safety Adherence – Follow safety protocols and participate in safety training to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Quality Assurance – Conduct basic quality checks to ensure products meet company standards and report discrepancies.
Team Collaboration – Work closely with your team and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For:

No prior experience required – This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the forestry industry.
High School Diploma or GED – Basic educational requirements to get you started.
Physical Fitness – Ability to lift, pull, and pile materials in a physically demanding environment.
Positive Attitude – Must be self-motivated, eager to learn, and work well in a team setting.
Commitment to Safety – A strong focus on safety and adherence to safety protocols.
