About the Role
We are seeking a Network Analyst to join our dynamic team. Working closely with our IoT Engineering group, you will support the design, planning, scheduling, and installation of SmartONE solutions in multi‑dwelling buildings across North America. Some travel outside the GTA may be required.
The SmartONE system is built on technology that operates on a standard IP network. It communicates with sensors and IoT devices using Zigbee wireless, RS485, and other protocols. Each project involves network and firewall configuration, as well as device integration, to deliver a seamless user experience.
As a Network Analyst, you will help install, configure, maintain, and administer enterprise network infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with team members on all network‑related project components and contribute ideas, recommendations, and technical insights in a team‑oriented environment. You may also work with suppliers to integrate and test new solutions in the SmartONE lab.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose network performance issues using various technical tools
- Design and implement network solutions to minimize outages or service degradation, collaborating with field and technical support teams as needed
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures for IP network maintenance and create/maintain related documentation
- Review architectural and electrical construction drawings to optimize SmartONE solutions and building network layouts
- Source products compatible with SmartONE and complete integration testing in the SmartONE Lab
- Work with IoT, Project, and Site Engineers to ensure seamless product execution
- Transport and install equipment on construction sites while following all Health & Safety and PPE requirements
Qualifications
- Post‑secondary degree, diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience in a related technical field
- Technical background in structured cabling and networking technologies, including Fortinet devices
- PMP designation is an asset
- Experience documenting project tasks, procedures, and schedules is an asset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing timelines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong scheduling and time‑management abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office; CAD/Adobe markup and rendering skills are assets
- Experience with construction scheduling for multi‑dwelling buildings is an asset
- Physical dexterity for ladder climbing, wire pulling, and terminations
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to GTA sites
- Ability to participate in an on‑call rotation for customer support
- Track and purchase tools and components for site work
- Follow all health and safety requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned

Working Conditions
- All SmartONE employees work 40 hours per week
- This role requires on‑site presence at the office and construction sites Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed
Pay Transparency
Expected Compensation:
Annual base salary: $65,000–$75,000
This range complies with the Ontario Employment Standards Act and reflects the potential base salary for this role. The final offer will depend on qualifications, experience, location, and expected contributions.
