Job Opportunity: Part-Time Permanent Placement Nanny (Toronto)
Schedule: 20 hours per week in the mornings
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour (Commensurate with education and experience)
Environment: Non-smoking home with no pets
Role Overview:
We are seeking a professional, live-out nanny for a family in Toronto with infant child. This is a Part-time permanent placement for a candidate who is highly dependable and flexible. Note: The successful candidate must have experience working as a nanny for families with infants and toddlers. Preferably can speak German.
Key Responsibilities: Primary responsibility will always be the child’s care, development, safety and happiness.
- Childcare: Provide high-quality, client-centered care with a focus on safety and developmental engagement. Experience with bottles and diapers.
- Household Support: When napping, nanny to assist the family to help keep their household organized and running efficiently. When childcare responsibilities permit, duties include, family laundry, meal preparation for the family, washing bottles, dishes, and kitchen clean-up after meals and light daily tidying related to the family’s routines.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2–4 years of significant professional experience caring for infants and toddlers with strong references.
- Education: Minimum Secondary School graduation.
- Credentials: Valid Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certifications
- Security: A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening is mandatory.
- Transportation: Driver with a car not required
