Philip Fernandes Designs is hiring an organized, detail-driven Architectural Technologist. We prefer candidates with 5+ years of experience in residential and commercial construction who thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines consistently, and take pride in producing clean, accurate drawings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare working drawings — site plans, floor plans, elevations, wall sections, and details
- Produce detailing for residential and commercial projects
- Conduct by-law and code compliance reviews for each project
- Maintain and develop office drafting standards in AutoCAD
Requirements
- 5+ years of Canadian construction experience preferred, in residential and/or commercial projects
- Bachelor of Architecture or Architectural Technology Diploma
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of the Ontario Building Code and local by-laws
- Solid grasp of residential construction methods and detailing practices
- Strong written, verbal, and reading skills
- Competency in Microsoft Office; SketchUp, Photoshop, or InDesign an asset
Pay: $50,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
