Housewares Sales Supervisor – Whistler Home Hardware

About the Role
We’re looking for a hands‑on, customer‑focused leader to oversee our Housewares department. If you enjoy merchandising, supporting a team, and keeping a department running smoothly, this role is a great fit.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the Housewares department
- Deliver excellent customer service and support staff in doing the same
- Train and guide team members
- Manage merchandising, displays, and seasonal resets
- Maintain inventory accuracy and organization
- Keep the sales floor clean and well‑presented
- Assist with workflow and task delegation
- Handle customer concerns and escalate when needed
- Support store‑wide operations as required
Qualifications
- Retail experience required; supervisory experience an asset
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Organized, reliable, and able to lead by example
- Able to lift up to 20 lb
- Basic computer skills
- Available during store hours: 8am–6pm (Mon–Sat), 9am–5:30pm (Sun & stats)
- Valid Canadian work permit
