Peace River Home Hardware Building Centre is looking for full-time Floor Staff to join our team!
About the job:
Floor Staff will assist with a variety of tasks, including helping customers with their shopping experience, taking payments, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and performing basic cleaning duties. The ideal candidate will be friendly, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with people and has a strong sense of customer service. We are open 7 days a week, including weekends. This position would be 40 hours per week.
Duties include:
Assist customers with their shopping experience
- Take payments
- Perform basic cleaning duties
- Maintain a clean and inviting environment
- Ensure that merchandise is displayed to customers accurately
About you:
Reliable work experience required - 1 year minimum required in retail sales or customer service.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
